Want Better Adult Grooms? Start With a Calm Puppy Visit in Ocean Ridge.
Missing the early window means the first real groom happens on an adult that has never been handled. If the puppy has reached its limit, we stop there. A short good experience is worth more than a finished coat. The session is deliberately short: handling, a gentle wash, a dry, and light tidying only where it is needed. In Ocean Ridge that usually means bridge timing, estate drives, narrow coastal roads, beach parking, household approval, and no roadside blockage. Coat work stays light at this age. The aim is tolerance of the tools rather than a finished shape. Where there is an older pet in the house, both can be seen in one visit and the puppy often copies it. The service is chosen around the pet, never around a package. A focused visit and full grooming stay separate in Palm Beach County, priced on their own.

Why Choose Dogi's for Puppy Grooming
A calm introduction, not a full haircut.
If a puppy is not ready for part of the process, you hear that and we build up to it instead. Estate drives, gated entries, and the acreage roads west of town are routine for our vans rather than an obstacle to plan around.
- Ocean Ridge route timing reviewed before the van leaves
- Parking, gates, and building access confirmed for Ocean Ridge
- Calm, one-on-one puppy grooming with no cages and no waiting room
- One real base in Doral, never a fake Ocean Ridge address

Ocean Ridge Puppy Grooming FAQs
Clear answers about coverage, access, scheduling, and the details Dogi’s needs before confirming a visit.
Check Address via WhatsAppIs the dryer going to frighten her?
It can, so it is introduced at low speed, away from the face, and never as the first thing that happens. Some puppies accept it immediately and some need several visits. We will tell you where yours is and go at that pace.
What should I sort out before the van arrives in Ocean Ridge?
Mainly parking and permission. Tell us about bridge timing, estate drives, narrow coastal roads, beach parking, household approval, and no roadside blockage. The van has to stand somewhere lawful and level for the whole appointment, and getting that agreed in advance is what stops a visit failing on the doorstep.
What should I do between grooms?
Handle the paws daily, look in the ears, run a brush over the coat, and touch the face and tail, briefly and pleasantly. A few seconds a day makes more difference than anything in the van. For a curly coat, brushing prevents the first shave-down.
How young can a first groom happen?
Once the puppy has settled into your home and your veterinarian is happy with the vaccination stage. Before that, a gentle introduction and a nail tip is plenty. Check timing with your vet, since it depends on their schedule.
Will my puppy remember it next time?
Yes, which is the whole reason for keeping it short. Puppies form strong lasting associations with new experiences. A puppy that leaves relaxed comes back easier. One pushed through while frightened remembers that instead.
Should I stay in the van with my puppy?
Usually better nearby but not in the doorway. Many puppies settle faster once the owner is out of sight, because they stop looking for reassurance and start paying attention to us.
