Mobile Nail Caps in Parkland, Scratch Cover for Indoor Cats
One-on-one care in Parkland
Clear safety and rebooking guidance
Caps suit a specific situation: an indoor cat, something worth protecting, and an owner willing to have them refitted. Outside that they are usually the wrong answer and we will say so. Where we go in Parkland is Terramar Park, the Heron Bay communities, the equestrian trails, and the Sawgrass Expressway edge.

Need Softer Scratches Without a Stressful Trip in Parkland?
Caps are usually the answer to furniture damage or scratching that has broken skin. They cover the nail rather than change the behavior. One paw at a time, with breaks. Rushing the adhesive is the most common reason a set does not last. If the animal will not tolerate a full set, we fit what we can. A partial set beats a fight. In Parkland that usually means guard gates, visitor authorization, long community drives, school traffic, low branches, and driveway access. Replacement runs on a cycle tied to nail growth, and that interval is set at the first fitting. In homes with more than one scratcher, all of them can be capped in a single appointment. You are told the cost before the van arrives. Anything that would change it is raised at the assessment rather than at the end.

Why Choose Dogis for Nail Caps
Not right for every cat.
If capping is not the right answer for the behavior you are describing, we will say so rather than fit them anyway. Owners usually tell us the difference shows in how the pet handles the session rather than in how the coat looks afterwards.
- Parkland route timing reviewed before the van leaves
- Parking, gates, and building access confirmed for Parkland
- Calm, one-on-one nail caps with no cages and no waiting room

Our Nail Caps Process
When the answer is no.

A Team Prepared for Nail Caps
Our groomers are trained in nail anatomy and cap sizing, which is what keeps a set on without putting pressure on the nail bed. The humidity here dictates how long drying takes. We schedule around it rather than rushing a coat that is still damp at the end, since that is where skin problems start.

Parkland Nail Caps FAQs
Clear answers about coverage, access, scheduling, and the details Dogi’s needs before confirming a visit.
My cat goes outside.
Then no, and this is the one we do not bend on. An outdoor cat needs claws to climb, to grip, and to escape something. Covering them removes an exit route. For a cat with outdoor access the answer is a post indoors and regular trimming.
She is still a kitten.
Possible once the claws are big enough to take a cap properly, and the size will change between fittings as she grows. It is worth asking whether it is needed yet, since a kitten taught to use a post early may never need them.
She hates having her paws touched.
Fitting ten caps means holding ten claws still, which is a lot to ask of a cat that objects. Sometimes it works across two short visits and sometimes it does not. We will try briefly and give you an honest answer rather than persist.
Who needs to approve a visit in Parkland?
Whoever controls the space, and it varies a great deal here: strict city tree and vehicle ordinances, guard-gated entrances, long private drives, low canopy, and horses on the road. Send gate codes, a contact number for arrival, and any clearance limit. Anyone who has to authorize the visit should be told beforehand, not on the doorstep.
What if a claw looks infected?
It does not get capped. Covering a split or infected claw traps the problem and makes it worse. We will tell you which claw, suggest you have it seen, and cap the others if that still makes sense.
Would trimming be enough on its own?
For a lot of households, yes, and it is cheaper and simpler. Claws kept genuinely short do far less damage. Caps earn their place where there is fragile skin involved or furniture that trimming alone has not saved.
