Mobile Deshedding in Wilton Manors, Not a Shave
One-on-one care in Wilton Manors
Clear safety and rebooking guidance
Owners of short-coated dogs often assume this is not for them. A labrador, a pug, or a beagle has a dense undercoat and drops a startling amount of it. The Wilton Manors problem for a coat is river humidity on all sides, mature tree shade, leaf litter, and mosquitoes off the water.

Is Loose Fur Taking Over Your Home in Wilton Manors? We Bring De-Shedding to You.
Waiting for the shed to finish on its own rarely works. The packed coat stays put and the loose coat keeps arriving. If the skin under the coat is sore, we stop short of a full strip. Finishing the job is not worth the damage. One dog at a time and in stages, with breaks. Deshedding is repetitive and a dog will tell you when it has had enough. Around Wilton Manors we plan for event closures, limited curb space, apartment parking, narrow drives, pedestrian traffic, and bridge approaches. Heavy shedders need this on a cycle, not on demand. The interval is set by coat type and season. The bath is part of this job rather than an add-on. Undercoat does not release properly without it. If the coat or the temperament rules out the finish you wanted, you hear it up front. A surprise at pickup helps nobody.

Our Fur Removal Process
The breeds people do not expect.

A Team Prepared for Fur Removal
You are told how much came out, what the skin underneath looked like, and when the coat will need this again. Water, power, and climate control all travel with the van, so nothing is drawn from the house. The appointment never depends on an outdoor tap, a spare outlet, or a helpful neighbor.

Wilton Manors Fur Removal FAQs
Clear answers about coverage, access, scheduling, and the details Dogi’s needs before confirming a visit.
My dog has short fur. Is this pointless?
Not if it is double-coated, which most short-haired retrievers, pugs, beagles, and terriers are. Those dogs shed prolifically and the fur weaves into fabric. What is genuinely pointless is de-shedding a true single coat such as a greyhound.
How do I know if my dog is double-coated?
Part the fur and look. A double coat has a soft dense layer underneath the coarser outer hair. A single coat looks the same all the way to the skin. We will tell you which yours is and be straight if the answer means not booking.
Does it work on a curly coat?
Not in the same way. A curly coat holds shed hair instead of dropping it, so the job there is brushing and de-matting rather than raking out an undercoat. Booking de-shedding for a poodle cross is booking the wrong service.
Who needs to approve a visit in Wilton Manors?
Whoever controls the space, and it varies a great deal here: very narrow island streets, bridges with clearance limits, metered Wilton Drive parking, and short shared driveways. Send gate codes, a contact number for arrival, and any clearance limit. Anyone who has to authorize the visit should be told beforehand, not on the doorstep.
What about a wiry coat?
Terriers with wiry coats have their own approach, which is hand stripping rather than raking, and it is a slower specialist job. Tell us the breed and we will say which of the two your dog wants.
Would clipping be easier?
On a short double coat it achieves nothing useful and removes the sun protection. Those coats are not designed to be cut and clipping them does not reduce shedding, it just shortens the hairs you sweep up.
